Patent Success for UPR Clients
An important milestone in the patenting of an invention is the issuance of a Notice of Allowance by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. After months and sometimes years, of review and consideration of an invention, the U.S. Patent Office makes a determination as to whether the invention can be allowed to receive a United States patent. If the determination is positive for an invention, the Patent Office issues a Notice of Allowance stating that the examination of the merits of the invention has been completed and the issuance of a patent for the invention can be allowed. The actual patent certificate, however, is typically sent to the inventors several weeks after the Notice of Allowance has been issued. Several inventors working with United Patent Research had a Notice of Allowance issued for their inventions.
