Following suggestions from United Patent Research and Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, the inventor mailed an information package to Progressive International Corporation. This company then proceeded to send the inventor their non-disclosure agreement. In order to insure that she was not signing away any intellectual property rights, the inventor sent Progressive International’s non-disclosure agreement to Universal Licensing for review. After review by Universal Licensing’s licensing attorney, the client was advised that the non-disclosure agreement was acceptable to sign. The inventor will be keeping in close contact with Universal Licensing regarding ongoing contacts with Progressive International Corporation. Recently, Mr. Patrick Ralston, President of United Patent Research (UPR), attended the AAPEX and SEMA tradeshows in Las Vegas on behalf of inventors working with UPR.  The AAPEX and SEMA tradeshows are the largest and most significant automotive product tradeshows held in the United States.  By introducing UPR and the products it represents to many new companies in attendance, Mr. Ralston expanded UPR’s already extensive repertoire corporate contacts.  Additionally, Mr. Ralston met with several companies which had agreed to meet with him at the tradeshows.  These meetings were very fruitful has several companies agreed to seriously consider several of the inventions conceived by UPR clients.  Altogether, the tradeshows were a significant success as new manufacturer contacts were established and the pre-arranged corporate meetings resulted in promising manufacturer interest in inventions represented by United Patent Research.

Buffalo Games has shown initial interest in the creative game developed by United Patent Research client Sunday L. This company contact was initiated by United Patent Research’s attendance at Toy Fair 2015, held in New York City this February. As Buffalo Games signed an appropriate non-disclosure agreement promising to guard information about the Skull Game in strict confidence, the inventor proceeded to notify Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, about this manufacturer interest. The Skull Game is a unique dice based game which can be enjoyed by both children and adults. The game is fast paced with very simple rules allowing new players to quickly master the game. Flexibility is a key attribute of the Skull Game as it can be played by two to twenty players and can be enjoyed by adults and children as young as four years old.

A major international manufacturer of advanced electrical products has shown initial interest in the E-Z Junction Box. This innovative electrical wiring accessory was invented by United Patent Research client Ivan P. After the interested manufacturer signed an appropriate nondisclosure agreement, Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, proceeded to send the interested company details regarding Ivan’s invention. Universal Licensing will continue to provide Ivan with suggestions and advice concerning further contact with the interested manufacturer. The E-Z Junction Box is an electrical wiring accessory designed to facilitate the writing of homes and businesses. United Patent Research client Jeff H. has received initial manufacturer interest from three companies for his Windshield Road Guides.  Media Brands, Hopkins Manufacturing Corporation, and Harvest Direct received preliminary information about the invention from the inventor and proceeded to request additional information.  As these companies signed a standard confidentiality agreement, Universal Licensing (the licensing affiliate of UPR) provided the three companies with additional information about the invention.  The Windshield Road Guides are innovative automobile/truck accessories designed to permit a driver to safely stay within a highway lane as well as assisting in the parking.  These inexpensive, easy to use items are especially designed to make driving a large vehicle safer and more convenient.

A major manufacturer/distributor of innovative products has shown significant initial interest in the Foot Light invented by United Patent Research client Timothy C. The manufacturer was so impressed with this unique personal light that they financed the creation of a prototype in order to further evaluate the invention’s potential. The Foot Light enables the user to safely walk in the dark while maintaining the use of both hands. Additionally, the light is comfortable to wear and reliable over long term use.

The Wonder Leash, invented by United Patent Research client Jarrett H., has received manufacturer interest from Industrial Support Inc. of Buffalo, NY. Industrial Support specializes in custom fabrication of new products. This company signed a standard non-disclosure agreement promising to safeguard any invention information provided to them. Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, proceeded to supply Industrial Support with detailed information concerning this very practical dog leash. The Wonder Leash is a unique dog leash with a convenient quick attach/detach feature. With this leash a dog owner can quickly and easily release a dog from the leash without bending over.  The leash also has an innovative feature which prevents the twisting of the leash.
