Patent Applications Completed

United Patent Research clients Danny P. (inventor of the Trucker’s Table), Henry D. (inventor of the Hidden Adjustable Door Stop), and Susan L. (inventor of the Pole Cuddle Box) have just been sent completed patent applications for their review and approval. If the patent applications do not require any changes, the clients’ patent attorney will promptly file the patent applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

United Patent Research client, Ms. S. Laverne S., inventor of The Stewart Seat Cover, has been contacted by Johnson and Johnson. She will be in close contact with Universal Licensing, her marketing/ licensing agent, regarding any further developments with this major manufacturer.

Chinese Manufacturer Interest

Elizabeth C., inventor of the Twist & Shake Baby Bottle, received a positive manufacturer inquiry from Zhejiang Feating Plastic Investment Co., Ltd. of China. This company communicated to Elizabeth that there is a significant Asian market for new types of baby bottles. As Elizabeth is about to file for patent protection in China, she is well prepared for significant commercial possibilities in the expanding Chinese marketplace. In addition, Michael Freedman of Universal Licensing, United Patent Research’s licensing affiliate, is providing Elizabeth with advice and assistance regarding contacts and communication with Chinese companies.

Engineering Analysis Successfully Completed

United Patent Research client, George G., recently received an engineering design analysis of his invention, the Sensor Pill Topper. This analysis confirmed the practical viability of his invention and identified the required structural elements needed for production of commercial units.

Response from Ford Motor Company

Rachelle D., inventor of the Fit2go, communicated to her licensing agent, Universal Licensing, that Ford Motor Company is pleased to receive outside submissions of new ideas. Ford Motor Company does, however, require that all new invention submissions be submitted only to their web site. Universal licensing will be advising Rachelle regarding the proper procedures to following in dealing with Ford Motor Company.

China Patent Issued!

United Patent Research is pleased to report that the Chinese Patent Office has announced that Kenneth D., inventor of Klean Deck, has been issued a “Notification of Granting Patent Right”. Mr. D. is hoping that achieving patent status in the vigorous Chinese market will be a significant step towards the commercial success of his invention.

Inventor prepares for local boat and fishing show

A client of United Patent Research (UPR), inventor/fisherman Steven B., was in a quandary regarding the next steps he could take to promote his invention, The Jug Line Fishing Device. Steven B. contacted UPR’s affiliate, Universal Licensing and its President, Mr. Michael Freedman, for advice. Mr. Freedman noted the up-coming 2010 Boat and Fishing show in Mr. B.’s home state of Florida. Mr. Freedman explained how to research the names of the companies who will be attending this trade show and encouraged Mr. B. to contact some of these companies prior to the show. As Mr. B. has been granted United States and European Community Design patents he is well prepared to promote his invention at this up-coming trade show as well as other trade shows in the future.
